Project Profile
The purpose of the eAssistant system is to ensure clean and accurate metadata at the start of the production process. This means a reliable 'completeness and usability check' and a platform for the users to ensure the correctness of files/manuscripts that enter production. The manuscript package is thoroughly checked for any mismatch between the editorial and production metadata, the missing elements are identified, and the queries are sent to the authors for the same. This eliminates a delay in the production process due to the non-availability of the mandatory information, decreasing the number of author queries raised during the proof stage, and reducing the overall turn-around time.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with senior managers to determine business-specific application needs.
- Identified problem solutions from analysis of user requirements and end user reports.
- Coordinated with technical managers to ensure completion of client signoffs.
- Writing the technical documentation.
- Designing the Modeling & Database.
- Leading the application development team and supervising the design, testing, and modification stages.
- Design & Writing the Web API & implemented the security.
- Design the AWS services. (EC2, S3 Bucket, Load balancer, VPC, Route53)
- Implemented the Autoscaling for highest availability.
- Implemented network security (TLS, Firewall), data security (KMS) & Access security (IAM)
